I’m very happy to return for 2017 and continue my passion for the magic of color, in all its combinations, shades and nuances. My goal is providing smiles and fun using color and expressions of whimsy. Sometimes that leads me to unexpected paths, of smirks or twinkles in the eyes of animals and pet portraits, using bright and colorful mixed media.
SHARON PIERCE McCULLOUGH
Geoff finds expression in "painterly," sometimes abstract, fine art images of nature, landscape, and architecture; including ironic juxtaposition of new and old world culture across the US and abroad.
As an abstract painter and sculptor, art is part of my
daily life. Color is integral to my intuitive Abstract paintings, while minimalism is a key component of my sculptures.
Michael A McCullough
As a self-taught visual artist, Michael’s primary concentration is gestural abstraction. He currently works on large canvases, applying paints in a multitude of layers, using brushes, sponges or sticks as tools.
It is the perpetual dance of light, form and color that continues to inspire my imagination. To be able to visualize these things in my minds eye, then catch that moment on paper, canvas or glass, is what drives my creativity. And, sometimes... it's what you don't paint that will excite the viewer's imagination.
Statement: Because I enjoy using a variety of mediums in my artwork, I consider myself a multi-media artist. Using oil and watercolor paints as well as soft and oil pastels, colored pencils, polymer clay, fine silver and copper, and handmade papers, I am entirely motivated by the beauty of the natural world.
