Geoff finds expressions in "painterly." sometimes abstract, fine art images of nature, landscape, and architecture; including ironic juxtaposition of new and old world culture across the US and abroad.
As a self-taught visual artist, Michael's primary concentration is gestural abstraction. He currently works on large canvases, applying paints in a multitude of layers, using brushes, sponges or sticks as tools.
My art is inspired by the beauty and intricacy of the natural world. I strive to create my unique impression of natural objects and scenery, not exact photographically realistic images. I want to capture the mood, depth and spirit of nature. My abstract art frees me from concrete objects and allows me to enjoy color and shape intuitively.
